Driving Directions The following are directions to the Montgomery County Prothonotary's Office, which is located in the Court House: FROM PA TURNPIKE: Take Exit 25A, of the Pa Turnpike, and get on route #476 south.  Get off at the Norristown Exit, and turn right on to Ridge Pike.  Continue for approximately 3 miles into Norristown.  At this point Ridge Pike becomes Main Street.  The Court House is located at the corner of Main and Swede streets, on your right.   FROM PHILADELPHIA: Take Route #76 west (Schuylkill Expressway) to exit #331B (Route #476 and Plymouth Meeting).  Take Route #476 to Norristown exit 18B.  At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right on to Chemical Road.  Go to the first traffic light (Ridge Pike) and turn right.  Continue on Ridge Pike for approximately 3 miles into Nortristown.  At this point Ridge Pike becomes Main Street.  The Court House is located at the corner of Main and Swede streets, on your right.   FROM KING OF PRUSSIA: Take Route #202 north (do not go through Bridgeport, keep straight instead).  Cross over the Dannehower bridge to the first traffic and turn right on Main Street.  Go 3 blocks to the Court House.   FROM LANSDALE, MONTGOMERYVILLE OR NORTH: Take Route #202 south, past Mercy Suburban Hospital, to Johnson Highway (where the road becomes one-way).  Turn right onto Johnson Highway to the second traffic light.  This is Markley Street.  Turn left onto Markley Street and continue for approximately 6 blocks until you come to the used car lot.  Turn left at the car lot onto Swede Street.  The Court House is 7 blocks ahead at the corner of Airy and Swede Streets.   PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (SEPTA): The Regional Rail R6 line, Norristown Transportation Center Stop. From the Norristown Transportation Center, walk north one block to Main Street. The Court House is located on Swede and Main Streets.
